Colorado Rider News is proud to feature the American Skull and American Reaper bikes owned by Laurie “Mamma Bear” and Bob “Chomper” Montoya. The customization of the American Skull started with their love for this country and being patriotic. Both riders have active and veteran military family members and Laurie wanted her bike to represent a distressed American flag.  Her love for motorcycles and being Founder of BikerDown Foundation, she always wanted skulls fused into the flags. Belt Drive Betty - Canada RidingA Community with Heart, Two Hills AB

Canada is the sparsely populated country just to the north of the United States and at 9.985 million km² is size; it’s also larger than the USA, which is 9.834 million km2.

It’s the sparseness of population that makes Canada both an appealing place to consider coming for a ride, BUT, it’s also what makes a lot of people stay away, at least when it comes to riding it by motorcycle. [Read more…] about Canada’s MOST Rider Friendly Community

Dirty Dogs Roadhouse

February 19, 2018 By Colorado Rider News 1 Comment

Just as our riding season was ending last fall, a new business was starting up and putting a fresh coat of paint on a historical biker bar in Golden Colorado. Dirty Dog’s Roadhouse opened their doors in November with a new look, new décor and Knucklehead Motorcycle behind the bar. If you are a long-time rider in Colorado, I am sure you have stories of visiting Susie’s and while many had tried to keep it open over the years, the owner Rob is a biker and knew that it would take more than fresh paint to re-open this biker landmark, it would take his heart and soul. Do Not Use Social Media After Your Motorcycle Accident

February 19, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan 1 Comment

Did you know that it is a bad idea to use social media after your accident? It is. In fact, it can cost you thousands of dollars in compensation that you could have used for medical treatment.

Scott O’Sullivan

How? Imagine this: You’re the victim of an awful motorcycle accident. The other driver is clearly at fault and, depending on your injuries and medical needs, you may be owed hundreds of thousands of dollars. But one day, you’re finally having a good day after the accident, and you take a picture of yourself hiking Long’s Peak and you post it on Facebook. You were in tremendous back pain the entire hike but felt so proud of yourself that you just had to share the image with your friends because they’ve all been rooting for you and supporting you since the accident. You want them to know you’re a fighter! [Read more…] about Do Not Use Social Media After Your Motorcycle Accident
