Freedom Fest 2019

June 5, 2019 By Colorado Rider News Leave a Comment

By Dean Gary, Freedom Fest Founder

Colorado Freedom Festival is here again June 29th at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. It will be our 5th year! Without the loyal support of the Freedom Fest Family this could never happen. I can’t express my gratitude to our all of you for coming together to celebrate our Nation’s Heroes.

A Look Back

In 2015 The Dean Gary Team and Freedom Fest LLC ignited their passion towards our American Heroes and launched Freedom Fest Colorado, a music Festival celebrating our heroes and raising awareness to their needs here on the home front. The event raises funds for American Soldier Network, Fallen Heroes Foundation and a few other local Colorado nonprofit organizations. Little did anyone know Freedom Fest Colorado would become an annual event – attended by thousands, it’s become one of the most anticipated events of the summer. We have had multiple Heroes take the “I choose to live oath”, we have sat and listened to heroes on this day who are going through hard times. As I walk the crowd and stage, I see hundreds upon hundreds reaching hands out and thanking our heroes during the event. I have watched a crowd of 5,000 stand silent in appreciation of what we have because of our heroes. This is what this day is about.

We hope to get as many people this year as possible to our new location. We needed a bit more space and have moved to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. We have fixed the beer lines, added sitting areas in each spot and we have added local spirits and breweries and there will be grass, shade and an amazing line up!

The day will start with doors pending at 11:30 and a Spirits tasting featuring local distilleries from noon until 2 pm. at 2:30 our National acts will hit the stage. This year line up from Headliner down will be Queensryche, Extreme, Great White, Steelheart, and Vixen!

Parking

We have parking at the event and the lot is full, or if you choose to take the Light Rail, there is parking at the Justice Center where the Light Rail stops and plenty of shuttle buses running all day!

Again, the goal here is to come together and rally for Veterans and families of fallen First Responders. It is a safe and fun environment where we get to let go of our needs and focus on a great day of entertainment while being surrounded by some of the most incredible men and woman and their families on the planet!

See you all June 29th, 2019 at the Jeffco Fairgrounds! Spread the word, share on Facebook, tweet or whatever you do socially. It’s going to be a great day!

Purchase Tickets Here!

Come join us at Herman’s Hideaway for Paradise Kitty on Friday June 28th for a pre-party! and then after the show at 10:30 pm on the 29th for a meet-n-greet with the one and only Steelheart at the after party at Dirty Dogs Roadhouse!

Thank you again. I can’t wait to see what we can do together this year and the years to come!
