Moon Angell takes over as General Manager of Dirty Dogs Roadhouse

October 7, 2021 By Laurie Montoya Leave a Comment

Over the summer, most of you have seen Moon Angell at Dirty Dogs Roadhouse.  Like me, I always saw Moon at Dirty Dogs, but it was in a different capacity this summer.  Mark & Rob hired Moon as General Manager of our beloved biker bar, and the difference has been very noticeable.

Moon brings an eclectic vibe into the bar, and the staff will work hard, provide you excellent service, but make no mistake; Moon will boot you for the night if you aren’t acting right or disrespecting any of the staff.

Moon has been in love with motorcycles since her first experience at 14 when a motorcycle club rolled thru her Louisiana small country town.  She knew after hearing the roar of the bikes that her life had just roared past her.  She left home at 16 and got her first bike to ride every day to go milk the cows.

She was raised with a high work ethic and the old skool concept of handling your shit and not asking anyone for anything.  Since then, she has been truly blessed in the biker world.  The late Jerry Graves built her current chopper from Graves Custom Cycles out of Boynton Beach, Florida.  For years, she would ride to Sturgis every year with Jerry and the gang and set up one of his custom bikes at the Sturgis motorcycle museum and had the pleasure to hang with the great bike builders of our time such as Arlen Ness, Eddie Trotta, Jesse James, and Tako Sikkaso.

Moon also enjoys mentoring and empowering today’s current women riders and runs a women’s Facebook Group called 303 Purdy li’l Chug-ettes.  Her philosophy is that it takes more strength to be a strong chick than to rely on your looks to get you thru the door.  Women today need to be true sisters and faithful friends.  One of the reasons many lady bikers will call her Mama Moon, because Moon can always be found with a smile on her face, backing up others, and uplifting anyone who needs some encouragement.

She is looking forward to meeting every customer that rolls thru Dirty Dogs and appreciates such an incredible opportunity to work with 2 of the most successful, badass bosses in the biker community.  They have given Moon the freedom to add her Classy, Sassy & a Bit Smart Assy attitude into the mix at Dirty Dogs and to back it up with quality service that bikers want in the #1 Biker Bar in Colorado.
