If Your Friend Goes Down, Could You Help?

When I founded Rider Justice, I had many goals but, first and foremost, I want to make it safer for bikers to ride! We accomplish this through several efforts, including legislative advocacy (let’s end texting and driving!), and also by helping riders make sure they have the right motorcycle insurance (auto drivers don’t carry enough to cover the injuries they cause).
6th Annual Look Twice Save a Life

There is rarely a weekend in Colorado’s riding season that riders don’t ride for a good charity or cause. Motorcycle riders have always been the go-to group when a charity needs assistance. At the same time, our community also suffers an epidemic of motorcycle accidents and fatalities and the community outside of ours, rarely steps up to help us.

Motorcycle riders are a group of people that seem to have more friends suffer tragedy than just about any other group of friends. I am reminded this month of May, that it is Motorcycle Awareness Month. I decided this issue that I wanted to tell the riding community about my friend Jacqueline “Jaxx” Tabcum. Jaxx is an inspiration to me and has touched so many lives over the past 5 years with how she deals with tragedy and comes out on the other side stronger and more resolved.

Wide Open Saloon Bike Raffle Starts May 2019

Wide Open Saloon is a new restaurant coming to Sedalia that will be opening this summer, but that isn’t stopping Wide Open Saloon from helping the motorcycle community in a charitable way, long before they are even open.
