September is the beginning of our fall season. The nights are getting cooler, the leaves are beginning to change, and soon we’ll be adding layers of gear when we ride. We are a little over 100 days until Christmas, and soon you’ll begin to wonder, “Where did the summer go?” [Read more…] about Distracted drivers cause 40 accidents per day in Colorado

BikerDown Foundation Expanding Nationwide

September 7, 2018 By Laurie Montoya Leave a Comment

BikerDown was founded in November of 2011 with the mission of helping injured riders in Colorado. Nothing could have ever prepared this nonprofit for the journey ahead and the diversity of the riders that we would meet. This mission has changed so drastically since 2011 as BikerDown continued to grow. Never did I anticipate that we would be so actively involved with an injured rider’s family and friends. I never anticipated the need for this nonprofit would be so great that we would help over 65 families with their motorcycle fatalities and over 150 accident help requests just within the state of Colorado in 2017. September 7, 2018 By Colorado Rider News Leave a Comment

By: Don Enninga, ASM Instructor/ABATE of Colorado Northeast Coordinator

Rider Justice Fighting for Stricter Texting-While-Driving Laws

September 7, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan Leave a Comment

In 2017, I worked closely with Colorado Senator Lois Court to draft and champion a bill that would have increased the fine for texting-while-driving from $50 to $500.
