In a couple of weeks, I will begin BikerDown’s Adopt a Family for the Holidays, and in a blink of an eye, The Children’s Hospital Toy Run will be upon us. Freedom isn’t Free
By: Don Enninga, ASM Instructor/ABATE of Colorado Northeast Coordinator
Freedom isn’t free. How many times have you heard this stated in conversations about our nation’s veterans, the military in general, our law enforcement and other patriotic settings and events? My Father was a WWII Veteran, and I have a great painting on my bike with “Freedom isn’t Free”, the American flag and an eagle as a tribute to him. Freedom in our country has been secured by millions of patriots like my Dad who proudly served our great nation. [Read more…] about Freedom isn’t Free

BikerDown National announced on September 15th that they have taken a necessary step to help riders fundraise online here in Colorado and nationwide. By: David “Double D” Devereaux
A jury in El Paso, Texas decided Friday that it is illegal for a member of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club to possess a weapon in the state. DT, a member of the BMC in El Paso, was arrested October 16th, 2017 on his way to work for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Although it was conceded by all sides that DT had no felony record and was not a convicted criminal, the prosecution argued, and the jury agreed, that merely being a member of the Bandidos was enough to consider an individual a gang member prohibited from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. The Piper Inn
On September 21, Friday night around 5 p.m., after an afternoon motorcycle ride, we stopped at the Piper Inn, 2251 South Parker Road in Denver.
We parked our motorcycles in the designated area in front by the main door. Both sides of patio (non-smoking and smoking) were full as well as the bar and table inside. Lucky for us a patio table on the nonsmoking side opened for us to sit. [Read more…] about The Piper Inn
