Rider Justice Fighting for Stricter Texting-While-Driving Laws

September 7, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan Leave a Comment

In 2017, I worked closely with Colorado Senator Lois Court to draft and champion a bill that would have increased the fine for texting-while-driving from $50 to $500. A second offense and any offense thereafter would have been punishable with a fine of $750. [Read more…] about Rider Justice Fighting for Stricter Texting-While-Driving Laws

Announcing Rider Justice: Fighting for Bikers’ Rights

August 3, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan Leave a Comment

I recently received a call from a man who was at a funeral home saying goodbye to his son. To say that this call was the “straw that broke the camel’s back” would be a serious understatement. Prior to this call, I was already feeling overwhelmed, emotional and angry about the devastation I see in the Colorado biker community, which faces an unacceptable number of accidents, injuries and deaths on our roads. Do You Know Denver’s Accident Hot Spots? This Map Shows You

July 7, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan Leave a Comment

I live in Denver and I’ve lived here a long time. And, as anyone who has lived here for more than five years can attest: traffic is getting nuts! It feels like Denver’s streets are getting more dangerous by the day. But, aside from weekday morning traffic reports, it can be hard to determine how dangerous and where the accident hot-spots are. I wanted a way to view accidents in Denver by type and location so that I could make better, safer decisions about my typical travel routes. Wild Ride Radio: A Biker Podcast

May 31, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan Leave a Comment

I just have to tell you about a motorcycle podcast that I recently found! As you know, I do a lot with the Colorado motorcycle community, from sponsoring rides to joining the board of BikerDown to giving away bikes. Recently, I was in a conversation with a biker who told me about Wild Ride Radio, so I tuned in. It’s great! I asked a friend who is a freelance writer to interview Dallas so that we could get the word out about his great work to the local and regional biker community. Read the story below and check out the podcast: I think you’re going to like what you read and hear… [Read more…] about Wild Ride Radio: A Biker Podcast

When Someone You Love is in a Motorcycle Accident

May 2, 2018 By Scott O'Sullivan Leave a Comment

By Scott O’Sullivan, The O’Sullivan Law Firm

Motorcycle riders are a tight-knit group. When I attend rallies, rides and other motorcycle events, I’m always inspired by the sense of camaraderie shared by bikers, who seem to walk around like they share the best secret in the world. They all love biking, bikers and bikes. They share a special bond. [Read more…] about When Someone You Love is in a Motorcycle Accident

I’m writing this article to urgently warn you about an insurance company that is not only preying on low-income Coloradans, but is also creating hardship and, sometimes, life-altering situations for innocent victims of motorcycle accidents.  [Read more…] about Beware of Fred Loya
